Matron of Honor
Coffee/wine/tequila drinking ball of fire, definitely sometimes the instigator and definitely sometimes not afraid to join in on bad decisions I maybe instigated... Fellow fire wife who shares all of the trials and tribulations that come with being that (I usually invite myself over for large chunks of Indy) A friend with a ton of perspective who I really enjoy just visiting with on the back patio or in the sunroom on the cold days. We solve friend problems, parenting problems, relationship problems and basically figure out world peace and end hunger in these binge worthy therapy sessions.
Bridesmaid
Think about the friend you’ve had forever, the one who has lasted through all of life’s stages. The one you’ve had real disagreements with but the one you always find your way back to. TT and I have a friendship like that. I always joke that she’s my golden retriever friend. She’s just always been with me through thick and thin. Our friendship is unique in its true foreverness. She probably knows more about me than anyone else in this world ;) So blessed to have her love and support through life and I am honored she’s standing next to me, as it’s essentially her fault for meeting Dave and moving to Chaska and making me play softball that I ever met Kevin.
Bridesmaid
Martha Martha Martha. Katie got the burden of being the permission giver for me to date Kevin. He was ridiculous and made it seem like I had to clear it with her before we hung out. Anyone who doesn’t know Kevin will not understand this and anyone who does, knows that he’s kind of a shit sometimes and this was one of those times. Katie was the first person to predict that Kevin and I would fall for each other. My description of my friendships seem to have this common denominator of girl talk and wine/coffee. With Katie it’s no different. We talk and we listen and we support the best we can. She tells me when I’m being crazy and tries to talk me off the deep end with some trouble I cook up. She also feeds me ridiculously good spinach omelettes and she taught me that I LOVE mushrooms.
Bridesmaid
This lovely lady was a friend gained through Kevin. Fellow fire wife, mother of a baby boy and dog lover we have LOTS in common. Weirdly we both love wine and coffee dates, too ;) She’s my sandbar cabin buddy, and will always be willing to provide me with no nonsense advice to talk me off the ledge on my crazy days, lol! I foresee many more adventures in the future of our friendship.
Bridesmaid
The sister of the groom for sure deserves a spot in this roster. She’s had to put up with Kevin for a LONG time and definitely will now be stuck putting up with me for a LONG time. I look forward to continued shopping trips/cabin trips and holidays/weekends spent enjoying the family.
Bridesmaid
This beautiful lady was by my side through one of the biggest life changes thus far for me. We have been sisters/roomies/coparents/support/therapists to each other and J was right there through it all supporting the beginning of K and I’s relationship. She helped me focus on the good and get through the hard and I’m so blessed that our paths crossed. I can’t speak of some of the stuff we have done together but we have definitely found our share on shenanigans... also, guys, she’s the only single one in my wedding party so make sure you hit her up for lots of dances.
Flower Girl
This little cutie is Kevin’s niece, she’s going to look adorable walking down the aisle in her dress and hopefully shows off her dancing skills at the reception. Abby and I have a secret plan that no one else will know ANYthing about.
Flower Girl
Em is ready for her flower girl title. We aren’t sure if she will rip down the aisle in a hurry for the party to start or if she will get halfway and decide she would rather go sit with grandma, we are sure she will be ridiculously cute doing whatever it is she decides to do.
Flower Girl
This needy brat is the first fur child K and I adopted together. She is a southern girl who adores her daddy... like obsessively so. I have definitely been demoted since her being here. However, she’s a snuggler who loves everyone and her energy has been a wonderful addition to our household.
Ring Bearer
This beast is my best friend... his paw prints are all over my heart and those who know me know that he’s basically my third child. Not every guy would be thrilled about a furry horse moving in but K loved him right away, again proving that he’s the guy for me ;) I can’t imagine him not being a part of my day.
Mother of the Bride
The best ma a girl could have. I’ve been blessed with always knowing the unconditional love of a parent. I’m old enough to know I shouldn’t take that for granted and not only is she a wonderful mom, she’s been the best grandma. I couldn’t imagine raising my littles without her help. She’s also a great dog grandma, lol. Her only con is she maybe likes teal a little TOO much. Thankfully she discovered that after she stopped picking out my clothes.
Father of the Bride
This poor guy... he will tell you he’s been gray since the day I was born. This man is responsible for the fact that I didn’t turn out like a hoodlum. He kept me on the straight and arrow and knew just the words to say when I strayed to bring me back in line. I’m so blessed to have a father who has always loved, always cared, and always been there for me. He’s also a pretty great grandpa and weirdly there’s always ice cream around for the boys... I dont remember that luxury growing up ;)
Honor Attendant
This lovely lady has been such a blast getting to know. After a few trips it became clear that she was the whip cracker and wasn’t afraid to tell people when it was time to move (definitely necessary when there’s groups of 12-16), so when it came time to plan something this big out of state she immediately came to the rescue with help and organization/research. Plus her and Tim are definitely #marriagegoals so who better to have in your corner on your big day and always.
Honor Attendant
COMPLETELY makes sense that Kevin would find a Steph since his bestie Troy found a Steph. K and Troy are pretty much the same person if you get past a few small details. It obviously takes a certain woman (Steph) to deal with them. It was pretty much a must that 1 and I got along since the guys spend A LOT of time together. Not only do we get along but we have since become the #walshtowskis. We sympathize with each other, we share date days at burns, and we often “work” together a lot during slow periods at work-Code for: plan weddings and other fun shindigs over Snapchat. #teamsteph4eva #teamsteph #walshtowskis Walsh ladies have my back so I’m completely confident things will go just fine.
Groomsman
This handsome dude calls me Mom. Wy is becoming such a wonderful young man it makes me a little sad. He’s growing too fast and it’s bittersweet. Wy was 9 when he met Kevin and old enough to have his own opinions on someone. Fortunately they have gotten along since day 1 and often delight in teaming up on me. They think they’re super funny. There aren’t enough characters allowed to describe a child who makes up your heart and soul but this boy is amazing and keeps us both entertained and so proud.
Groomsman
This little hellion enjoys keeping us both on our toes. There isn’t much middle ground with Walker and he takes after his mama. Loud and impulsive and snuggly ;). Walks is also quite the motor junky so I foresee lots of shop time in the future as K teaches Walks how to fix what he’s broken before Mom finds out. Kevin had lots of changes when two half grown children moved in with him and it’s been so fun to watch them develop relationships. They learn from each other and sometimes it’s hard and sometimes it’s entertaining. Either way, we have become a family and it’s us. So it’s perfect.

Officiant
This lovely lady can officially say she’s my “oldest/longest” friend here. When K and I knew we weren’t going the traditional route and wanted a friend to officiate I thought of Linds and knew she was perfect for the job. She’s also been my sounding board since the beginning. There’s literally SOOOO many memories we have together and Kev and I are honored she’s officiating our big day.
