Admission is Free!! They have hundreds of authentic fossils on display and specialize in fossils from Texas and surrounding states. They also often offer special exhibits as well as those on permanent display.

You can take a self-guided tour of the courthouse if you’re in Hillsboro during the week. The courtroom is beautiful, but don’t forget to go to the basement and up the iron stairs where the stained glass windows are. It’s a beautiful spot.
