Buffalo Trace Distillery
I highly recommend taking home some Bourbon Cream - while great in coffee it is FABULOUS over chocolate ice cream.
Woodford Reserve Distillery
This was by far my best experience touring a distillery. So much history, so much to see and experience. Plus the tasting at the ends includes chocolate.
Josephine Sculpture Park
For the unique, eclectic outdoor wanderer - this is the place for you. It's a outdoor world of modern sculptures in a very unassuming and primitive setting for walking off your vacation calories.
Kentucky History Center & Museums
For those with a love of history this is the place for you.
Frankfort Cemetery
You get history, a view and to visit Daniel Boones gravesite. It overlooks the city of Frankfort and the KY RIver. It's quite beautiful.
West Sixth Farm
For the beer lovers! This is an outdoor space with an open taproom that servers their own brews along with other local brews, some red/white wine and slushies (in the summer).
