This is my favorite spa! I will be spending the morning of November 8th here - feel free to join me!
This is one of my favorite rooftop restuarant/bars. Fun fact - it's on top of The Kimpton hotel where we've blocked off rooms!
Excellent restaurant with delicious food, a beautiful garden roof and sweeping views of LA! (Side note - you can also visit Catch on your next trip to Las Vegas or NYC)
This is a great outdoor shopping/dining center with a fun theatre, fountain and farmer's market. We live right next door! Also a great place to watch for celebrities.
Gifford laughs at me, but this is one of my favorite ways to relax! Basically you get in a sleeping bag lined with heated coils and you sweat out all of your toxins over the course of 50 minutes while you watch Netflix. Afterwards you enjoy oranges and hot tea and your skin will glow all day! I'll be doing this every day leading up to the wedding. Come sweat with me! (PS - don't do this the day of the wedding. You'll be sweating all day)
I'm a current student here! We have great shows throughout the week and I'd highly recommend checking out the Wednesday Night "Crazy Uncle Joe Show" - it's longform improv, it's wild and there are often celebrity drop in guests (Kristen Wiig a few weeks ago). Tickets are usually pretty cheap too!
Fantastic breakfast and brunch place (same chef as Petty Cash). Be prepared to wait in line, but it's worth it (and a huge restaurant, don't be fooled by the line) Get the quiche!
This is one of mine and Gifford's favorite date night spots. The food is great (same chef as Republique) and we see Busy Phillips here on the reg. Get the spicy margarita!
Great 24/7 Jewish deli/diner! Get anything with challah bread.
If you love poke, this is the place! Go early and add crispy onions - they run out!
Another great breakfast/brunch place. They also have a great collection of cute gifts/souveniers!
Can't go wrong with a $40 blow out! This one is located right across from The Orlando hotel.
This is one of Gifford's favorite art galleries! They specialize in pop culture art and almost always have some kind of exhibit on display. Grab a print or two! https://nineteeneightyeight.com/
One of my favorite speakeasy-type restaurants! You enter through a pawn shop. The menu changes but I've honestly never had anything I didn't like. Get any of the fabulous cocktails and the mini empanadas and grilled cheese/tomato soup dumplings! (Another fun fact: you can also visit Beauty and Essex in Las Vegas and NYC)
