We technically live in a neighborhood called Beverly Grove, but we are very close to West Hollywood. Our zipcode is 90036 and I would say use that when searching for hotels, things to do, places to eat, etc.
I would say, no, but it really depends on how long you're staying and if you're planning on staying near us/the venue. Most hotels will charge $50+/day additional for parking and if you're not familiar with the area, parking can be very difficult for trips to restaurants/entertainment. There are tons of lyfts and even fun scooters to use to get around town. Honestly, totally up to you!
Los Angeles International (LAX) or Bob Hope (BUR)
At LAX there are always cabs available to take you right away. A trip to West Hollywood will run you a flat $45 before tip. You can catch a Lyft or Uber on the upper floor at LAX for around $30-45 depending on time of day. I'm not as familiar with Bob Hope, but I imagine it's probably the same.
45 minutes (approximately 11-13 miles)
The restaurant is called Bacari W 3rd and is located at 8030 W 3rd St #3/4, Los Angeles, CA 90048

We have blocks of rooms at The Orlando and The Kimpton hotel, currently. You are also welcome to explore AirBnBs, VRBOs, etc. but I would say use extreme caution as most people don't own their apartments in LA and can get in big trouble (even evicted) for renting them out and I would hate for anyone to end up in that situation. Please feel free to send me (steph.slocum@gmail.com) any places you're considering and I'll tell you more about the neighborhood and if I feel it's a good fit!
We've registered on Zola (including Crate and Barrel).
