As many of you already know, we met on Bumble. The connection was instant and through our back and forth banter, we soon found out that there would be a lifelong competition of “who is funnier” (which Steph continuously wins). We officially started dating on April 16, 2021 during a martini fueled dinner at Savona in King of Prussia - we haven’t been back since because we cannot confirm or deny whether or not we made a scene. Since the first night we met, there hasn’t been a lack of love or a lack of laughs in our relationship. After 2+ years of date nights, long weekend vacations to new places, and time spent with our families and friends, we are so excited for this next chapter in our life. We cannot wait to be married and to have you all there with us celebrating our love!

During a Lovina family vacation in Mexico Dan asked Steph’s dad, Allen, for her hand in marriage during a round of golf. Allen was confused about timing considering Dan asked if “he could possibly marry Steph sometime in the future, maybe.” He left us all guessing for a few months after that. 6 months to be exact, but who was counting? Fast forward to this summer, on another Lovina family vacation, Dan proposed on the beach in Lavallette, NJ. The whole Wanner family surprised Steph and we had an amazing weekend celebrating together on the beach, reminiscing about the past years together, and so excited for our future. Dan's one prerequisite for the engagement was that Steph would have no idea it was happening (check) and Steph's multiple prerequisites for the engagement were that she would have her nails done (check, but not the ideal color), there would be lots of photos (check - shout out to Adam), and most importantly that both of our families would be close by for hugs, tears, and celebrations. It was so perfect! Luckily both the Lovinas and the Wanners know how to throw back a few drinks and have a good time - we can't wait for many more years of that!
