Feeling brave? Want an adrenaline rush? Take an instructional tandem ride with the best in Utah. Connor and groomsman, Gavin, have taken instruction from Hal and Jonathan who are certified paragliding instructors. Our flight parks are some of the best in the whole US and have incredible views of the surrounding mountains. Even if you stop by just to see people flying around, it's worth it! Check out their website :) (in the photo, Connor is on the left!)
Snowbird Oktoberfest opens up in August and runs through the end of October. It is a classic thing to do in SLC in the fall. A great way to spend a day drinking beer, eating themed food, listening to German folk music, browsing local Utah artists' wares, and more. Free entry BUT if you drive yourself, it is 10$ per car to park in their lot. Bring your own liquid receptacle or buy one there - they have a themed design for every year so it's a great souvenir!

This is one of my favorite places to take visitors. See the largest collection of real dinosaur bones in the U.S.! They always have really cool visiting exhibits and lots of other cool stuff to help you learn about Utah and how unique of a place it is! Sneak peek, it used to be part of the ocean!
A bit of a drive outside of Salt Lake City, but such a hidden gem. You can see herds of Bison (not Buffalo, they're different I swear) and the last living relative species of Antelopes (Pronghorn deer). I highly recommend driving to the ranch and past it and all around! Stop at the gift shop to see local artists' work inspired by the animals and nature of Antelope Island. Ever had a Bison burger? You can now! The restaurant on the north side of the island serves them as well as regular burgers. Hikes: - Elephant Head + Mormon Rocks Loop (hard - 13.6 miles 1,732 ft elv gain) - Frary Peak Trail (hard - 6.9 miles 2,335 ft elv gain)
Get lost in an otherworldly landscape. This very photogenic landscape is located about 1.5 hours from the venue but is often referred to as a must see when visiting Salt Lake City. Although we've never been there ourselves, it is well known that sunrises and sunsets are great times to explore and take photos.
Another great place to explore. Also check out the ranch and pet some horsies! Hikes: - Chimney Rock (medium - 3.3 miles, 93 ft elevation gain) - Hickman Bridge (easy - 1.7 miles, 416 ft elevation gain) - Cassidy Arch (medium - 5.5 miles, 866 ft elevation gain) From the car: - The Castle

A vast land that was one of the last places to be mapped in the U.S. because of how challenging the terrain makes it to get around. I am still on the journey of exploring this area so some hikes are unknown! But there is still plenty to do in the area.
