Question

I'm in town before Sunday Sept 15 and would like to spend time with the wedding party.

Answer

All those who are in town Friday evening and Saturday (9.13 - 14) are welcome to join us at the wedding venue. There are no concrete plans as everyone is encouraged to choose their own adventure so please reach out to Connor or Steph to let us know you're planning to join

What food will be at the reception?

Answer

Things are in the works with our caterer and more information will be available soon. Please continue to check back on this website, but Connor and Steph will also reach out when things are finalized

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There is no exact dress code but we hope guests have some fun and feel comfortable dressing a bit whimsically. Autumn garden party is the general vibe, but feel free to have creative liberty with it. The ceremony and reception will be on grass so we encourage all to wear appropriate footwear. September evenings in Utah are beautiful but we encourage guests to bring layers as it might get chilly when the sun sets. Historically the weather for Sept 15th has had an average high of 81 F and a low of 57 F. For those not used to a desert climate or being hit by the sun's rays at altitude, we highly encourage all to bring protective items for the sun and heat such as hats, fans, sunglasses and sunscreen.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to financial restraints, we are not able to accommodate anyone not listed on your physical invitation. We appreciate everyone's understanding. If we missed one of your children who will be attending, please let Connor or Steph know as we'd love to have them join you.

What information should I know if I am bringing children?

Answer

There will be other small children at the wedding and the days before. The venue property is large enough for them to enjoy some free rein. There are also playgrounds nearby: Nolan Park (has splash pad and playground) 3200-3398 Peregrine Rd, Eagle Mountain, UT 84005 Ash Point Park (has playground) 343010076, Eagle Mountain, UT 84005 If you need any food accommodations for your children please let us know, we'd be happy to help be sure they are well fed if the food provided to the majority is not safe for them to eat. The venue bathrooms and space are free for you and your family to utilize if you need some personal space for any reason. We just ask that you do not go into the bedrooms.

Itinerary

Answer

There will be no time gap between the ceremony and the reception as the wedding party will be taking photos before guests arrive. Following the ceremony, we plan to release everyone immediately for dinner to be followed by speeches and dancing. If you have to leave early we understand, just be sure to say goodbye before you go! For those who are not familiar, there is a noise ordinance in Utah that does not allow loud noise outside past 10pm. However, we want to keep the party going as long as guests want to stay, so we ask that everyone join us indoors to keep it going!

Phones and Photos

We encourage guests to make their own choice to keep phones away or have them out for pictures during the ceremony. We ask that phones have the ringer off, are turned to theatre mode, or do not disturb so your ringer does not go off. Address: 2766 E Fort Hill Rd, Eagle Mountain, UT 84005 Please see our Gallery to see the property layout. Parking spaces closest to the "garage" on the SW corner is reserved for those staying at the venue overnight. Please do not park on the grass, only on the concrete driveways. If you are staying at a nearby hotel we hope that you will opt for a ride share option in order to avoid drinking while inebriated as well as to save space for UT locals who will be driving down. If you are local to UT, please carpool as compactly as possible to maximize parking spaces. You can park on the street only if the parking at the venue is full. Please do not park on the street overnight. All guests are welcome to use the bathrooms in the venue house but we ask that you do not enter the bedrooms out of respect for the wedding party members who are staying at the venue overnight.

Can I bring my Furry Friend?

Unfortunately the venue owners have asked that no furry friends be present at the venue property. We ask that everyone respect this and find other accommodations for your furry friends. We understand that this is a lot to ask as we consider our furry friends part of the family, and appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

Alcohol

Answer

There will be an "open bar" of sorts. A few beers and hard seltzers as well as a few cocktails will be provided in limited quantity. If you are worried about missing out or that we might not have your favorite beverage, we encourage guests to bring their own. Be aware that in Utah, anything over 5% must be purchased at a state liquor store which are closed on Sundays. Anything below 5% can be purchased at grocery stores and gas stations. We ask that all guests are respectful of the bride and groom as well as the venue owners and that no "shenanigans" take place on or near the property. With love, let's not get too crazy ;) we appreciate your understanding on this matter.
