Flight
DCA is the closest airport to DC, and thus our venue. It is also very easy to navigate and you can even jump on the metro if you're a metro enthusiast--if you do, you'll board the yellow line and transfer to the green line at L'Enfant Plaza which will bring you to the Navy Yard Metro station near each of our recommended hotels. You can also easily travel by uber, cab or rental car from DCA to our hotels. It will take you 10-20 minutes to drive by car from the airport to our recommended hotel options.
Flight
BWI is located Northeast of DC and is the furthest airport available, but is still a great option depending upon where you're traveling from. If you opt for a rental car, it will be about a 50-60 minute ride to and from BWI, but you can also easily jump on the Amtrak train for a nice breezy ride to Union Station which is just a short metro, uber or cab ride to our recommended hotels.
Flight
IAD is located in Dulles, VA and is about a 40 minute ride into the city. Like BWI, traffic can pose an unexpected challenge so if you're traveling during rush hour, make sure to budget in extra time! You can jump on the metro, or travel to and from IAD via uber, cab or rental car. IAD is bigger than DCA and further from the city, so if all things are equal, we recommend DCA.
Hotel
We've reserved a block of rooms at the Homewood Suites which is conveniently located just three short blocks to our venue (District Winery). We recommend booking as soon as you decide where you will stay since the rooms will be released 30 days prior to the wedding date. Rooms have been reserved for an April 28th check-in and through the weekend, but you will qualify to receive the blocked rate even if you stay just one night at the hotel. The king suite is $149 nightly and the two queen suite is $159.00 nightly. Hotel
We have reserved a block of rooms at the Courtyard Hotel, located just a few blocks from our wedding venue. A king room is available at the block rate for $149 per night, or you can reserve two queen rooms at $159 per night. Rooms have been reserved for an April 28th check-in and through the weekend, but you will qualify to receive the blocked rate even if you stay just one night at the hotel.
