Places to eat and things to see!

We may be biased but we believe the food and festivity possibilities are endless in DC. We've provided you some of our favorite places to eat and visit around the city, but please reach out with questions once you decide where you'll be staying and we would be happy to share more! The Navy Yard area where we will be getting married has grown tremendously over the past 5 years with new bars and restaurants you'll enjoy (it is also home to Nats Stadium)!

Osteria Morini

301 Water Street Southeast, Washington, DC 20003
, (202) 484-0660

If you're looking for a fabulous meal in the hotel and venue neighborhood, we recommend Osteria Morini. Their homemade pasta is the right way to start, or finish, the weekend!

National Portrait Gallery

8th and G Street, Washington, DC 20001
, (202) 633-8300

If you've never been, or even if it's been a while, we highly recommend stopping by the National Portrait Gallery. As the Gallery is a part of the Smithsonian, entry is free. Make sure to stop for a coffee in the beautiful atrium!

Smithsonian National Museum of American History

1300 Constitution Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20560
, (202) 633-1000

The American History Museum never disappoints. The museum makes for a great addition to a trip to the Washington Monument and mall!

Zaytinya

701 9th Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20001
, (202) 638-0800

If you find yourself in Chinatown, make sure to stop by a Jose Andres restaurant. Zaytinya is a favorite, but you'll enjoy Oyamel and Jaleo too which are just around the corner. Zaytinya makes for a great stop after the Portrait Gallery!

Sculpture Garden

Constitution Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20565
, (202) 289-3360

The Sculpture Garden can be a quick walk as you make your way to the Smithsonian Museums or Monuments, or you can hunker down in the Pavilion and enjoy a coffee and sweet treat--regardless of the path you select, you will be glad you didn't miss it!

Lincoln Memorial

2 Lincoln Memorial Circle Northwest, Washington, DC 20002
, (202) 426-6841

While there many memorials to visit, we highly recommend finding your way to the Lincoln Memorial, where you can easily access the Washington Monument, National Mall, World War II, Korean War and Vietnam Memorials.

The Salt Line

79 Potomac Avenue Southeast, Washington, DC 20003
, (202) 506-2368

If you're looking for a great seafood restaurant, Salt Line is a must. Salt Line is located just blocks from our wedding venue and hotels.
