Bride
The best-looking bride - don't tell Stephanie!
Maid of Honor
Adopted in 7/13/2017 and forever improved the lives of her mamas. Spunky, moody, sassy, and gassy.
Best Man
Fostered in February 2019 and officially adopted in 4/11/2018. Severe separation anxiety a.k.a. affectionate couch potato.
Mother of the Bride (Steph)
That's Dr. Mother-of-the-Bride to you! Raised Steph as a single mom until her late teens. In other words, you can blame her for any of Steph's issues AND accomplishments. Ask her about: Gardening, TJ Maxx hauls, and her favorite bath products.
Mother of the Bride (Ashlyn)
Viveca raised Ashlyn as a single mom and is the "most genuine, hardworking woman I know." She is so compassionate and has been an amazing grandmother to Steph and Ashlyn's six animals. Ask her about: Trader Joes, celebrity gossip, and any Dateline murder mystery from 1991 to present.
Father of the Bride (Steph)
That's Dr. Father-of-the-Bride to you! Jeff entered Steph's life when she was at her peak level of teen angst and somehow survived and continued to be an amazing, supportive father to this day. Ask him about: Literally any factoid you'd ever want to know, because he is Jeff-ipedia, but mostly about cooking, cheese, wine, and Star Trek.
Father of the Bride (Ashlyn)
Ashlyn's father is generous, warm, kind, and hardworking. He is loved dearly by his eight grandchildren. He can create and fix just about everything, and if he can’t, we don’t know who can. Ask him about: Golf, the Cleveland Browns, and grillin'.
Officiant
That's Dr. Officiant to you! Esther is a close friend of both Ashlyn and Stephanie and was a fellow doctoral psychology intern in Dallas, TX with Stephanie. She is one of the most authentic, generous, and hilarious people we know. Definitely funnier than her partner Dean! Ask her about: Her cat King Tut-Tut, existential angst, and her best excuses to get out of social gatherings and stay home in pajamas.
Bonus Mother of the Bride (Ashlyn)
Vicki welcomed Ashlyn into her large family of five children with open arms and a warm heart immediately upon meeting her. She has been an amazing, supportive second mother to Ashlyn and has gifted her (and Steph) a large loving family of ten siblings and sibling-in-laws and eight nieces and nephews! Ask her about: The next Ewing vacation plans, gardening, and how to make a delicious meal for 20+ people on a regular basis.
