Most people would think it will be cool, and it probably will be. But…. This is North Carolina, and if anything is up in the air, it’s definitely the weather. Dress warm, but leave those wool suits at home. It could end up in the 90s.
Both! Ceremony will be outdoors, so bring sunscreen (and possibly an umbrella). Reception and cocktail hour will take place under covered roofs/indoors.
We’d love for everyone to wear black semi-formal. No tie required, just your favorite “little black dress” or black button down and slacks. Because the ceremony will take place outdoors, be mindful of footwear. The site is paved however, not all of the pathway is, and there is a slight hill. Stilettos not recommended.
Please feel free to bring a costume for your child(/ren) to change into during the reception. There will be a mask designing station as well as trick or treating spots.
99%. The ceremony site is accessed through a small portion of grass that leads to a sidewalk. Ladies, plan your footwear accordingly!
Parking is free and there is plenty of it! The front row will be reserved for handicapped guests.
The sooner, the better but we ask that you let us know either way prior to September 1.
There will be beer/wine as well as some light hors d’oeuvres available while the wedding party is taking photos. A buffet style dinner will also be served for those joining us for the reception. The bar will remain open through dinner.
Please let us know any restrictions you or a member of your family may have and we will work with the caterers to ensure your meals are safe.
