If you're looking to buy some fresh fruit or vegetables, artisan goods, or explore downtown Troy, this is a great place to do so. River Street and the area around Monument Square are great for exploring and shopping as well! Try the Dutch Udder's homemade ice cream.

Best pizza in Troy, served by the slice! DeFazio's is good too, but expect a wait.
Bruegger's Bagels
Second-best bagels in Troy, behind the now-defunct Psychedelicatessen (RIP). This is the original Bruegger's location!
New York State Museum
This is a great museum featuring much of the history of New York State. Worth a visit!

Tasty in-house beer with excellent food. The skillet mac-n-cheeses are to die for - bring your stretchy pants.

A cute cafe located downtown that has hot drinks, sandwiches, and a wall of board games.
Franklin Alley Social Club
Located under the wedding venue, this 1940s cruiseliner-themed bar has shuffleboard, video games, and a well stocked bar. We highly recommend!
Peebles Island State Park
A cute little state park that is perfect for a walk, run, or to get out to enjoy some nature.
