Things To Do
16th Street Mall
The entire street is lined with lots of little shops and boutiques and is often a tourist stop for many Denver visitors. Don't be surprised if you find a few street performers for your Instagram story!
Larimer Square
In the evenings. the boutique shops are still open and the block is illuminated with string lights and often energized with extraordinary street musicians. Visit this area for a drink, bite to eat, or evening stroll.
Denver Museum of Nature & Science
We LOOOOOVE the science museum! Steph's favorite exhibit is Gems & Minerals downstairs and Ryan's is Prehistoric Journey.
Pho Duy Restaurant
This is our FAVORITE Vietnamese restaurant in all of Colorado. Steph loves the bún mắm and Ryan's go-to is always a bowl of phở tái nạm. But you can order anything off the menu, it'll be great. The neighborhood this place is located in is full of authentic Vietnamese shops, restaurants, bakeries, and businesses. After you grab lunch here, be sure to explore the rest of the area!
Denver Art Museum
Steph loves to visit this museum on her own time, and they feature different artists regularly.
Pearl Street
It's a 20 minute drive west of our wedding venue. Pearl Street mall is a hipster haven, with lots of eclectic shops, original art, and street performers. Not to mention, nothing beats the people watching on this street.
South Table Mountain Park
If you'd like a leisurely hike that's not too difficult but with beautiful views, we highly recommend South Table. Hit up New Terrain Brewing Co. afterward.
Linger
This is a fantastic brunch spot if you have time Sunday morning. Actually, it's also a fantastic lunch and dinner spot. It's located in the popular LoHi neighborhood.
Avanti Food and Beverage
The rooftop views toward downtown, huge variety of eats, endless drink options, and enormous tables make this a great spot for groups. Gather your friends and family here for an easy place to meet up.
Chautauqua Park
Hike the famous flatirons here. You can find a trail for all skill levels at this gorgeous park. We like the Royal Arch Trail for a moderately difficult but still short hike.
Art District on Santa Fe
Don't let first appearances stop you—this is an AWESOME street to stroll. You'll find tons of boutique shops featuring local art, delicious eats, and cool antiques if you want to find unique treasures. It's one of our favorite ways to spend an afternoon.
First Friday Art Walk on Santa Fe
Many of you guys will be here for First Friday! Every first Friday of the month, the Santa Fe Art district comes alive as people from all over come to admire and buy local art, see street musicians, eat from delicious food trucks, and drink local brews. Year-round, rain or shine, from 5:30-9:30pm. Don't drive, because you won't finding parking. Get a Lyft instead!
