Do I need a passport?

Answer

YES! ALL guests require a passport to enter the Dominican Republic. Processing times for passport applications and renewals can take up to 6 weeks, so don't wait! Renew/Apply ASAP. Visit https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html for more information.

When is the wedding?

Answer

The actual wedding ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Now Onyx Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

Are children allowed?

Answer

YES! Now Onyx is a family-friendly resort. However, it is connected to an ADULTS-only resort called Breathless. Only guests 18 years and older are allowed on the Breathless side.

How do I make travel arrangements?

Answer

HOTEL: All hotel rooms should be booked through our Destination Wedding Specialist at Cheap Caribbean. A reservation form was emailed to you. Submit completed form to Heather Mitchell via email. FLIGHT: Hotel + Flight packages are available through our Destination Wedding Specialist at Cheap Caribbean. Flights included in these packages are through Frontier Airlines, and are available from select cities. If preferred, guests can choose to book flights separately through a preferred airline. Will airport transportation be provided?

Answer

YES! Hotel reservations booked through our wedding destination specialist include roundtrip transfer from PUJ airport to Now Onyx Resort in Dominican Republic. Once you arrive to the airport and exit through customs, look for AMSTAR representatives in ROYAL BLUE tropical shirts. Do NOT accept transportation from anyone else! If you make flight arrangements on your own, please submit your flight information to our wedding specialist by April 15, 2019 to ensure that roundtrip airport transfers are arranged for you.

How long should I stay?

Answer

Hotel room blocks will be reserved May 15-May 22, 2019 for our wedding group. Guests are NOT required to stay the entire week; however, there is a 3-NIGHT MINIMUM stay required to obtain group prices through our wedding destination specialist.

How much are travel costs?

Answer

A Guest Registration Form will be emailed to you from our destination wedding specialist at Cheap Caribbean. This form will include pricing for hotel and hotel+ flight packages. A deposit of $100/person is required to hold your spot. Call Heather Mitchell, our destination wedding specialist, for more details.

When can I book my travel?

Now! Submit $100 deposit per person before January 4, 2019 to save your spot and lock in rates. Submit your reservation form via email to the destination wedding specialist and call with any questions: Heather Mitchell 877-584-2775 ext. 6543 hmitchel@applelg.net Booking Deadline- January 4, 2019 Final Payment Deadline- March 6, 2019 **Guests that book before December 6, 2018 will be eligible for a $35 per person discount.

Are payment plans available?

Answer

YES! A $100 deposit per person is required to reserve your room. Guests can make payments however they wish, as long as the remainder balance is paid to Cheap Caribbean by March 6, 2019. This option is free of cost.

How long is the travel time?

Answer

Flight time depends on your city of origin. Non-stop service to PUJ from Chicago is 4.5 hours. Airport transfer from PUJ to Now Onyx is about 1 hour drive. Wear comfy clothing and bring some travel entertainment!
