We stayed in this hotel during our first visit and it was a wonderful stay. Hollister is a small town 40 odd miles NE of Monterey and while it made for a bit of extra driving to visit the coast, the price per night was very reasonable. Throw in free breakfast and parking, swimming pool and gym, and some of the nicest front desk staff you could hope for and it was worth the extra commute. Just be sure to give plenty of time as traffic can sometimes cause excess delays.
