One of the highlights of our visit here.  Be sure to check out the sea otter feeding time!

Monterey Bay Aquarium

Hop in your car and take the iconic drive down the Big Sur.  The road is twisty and turny and runs alongside some of the most scenic coastline in the world.  Make a day of it and stop at some of the spots we visited, including Pfieffer Beach, with it's majestic rocky beach, the Big Sur Bakery for some gooey chocolate cookies and the elephant seal rookery 65 miles to the southern end.

Be sure to spend some time in San Francisco!  The touristy spots of Fisherman's Wharf, Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and Chinatown are a must see for a first-timer but San Fran is full of interesting little spots like the eclectic Paxton Gate shop and the Fortune Cookie Factory.
