On the day of the wedding, we would highly recommend taking a ferry over to the island in the morning/early afternoon (probably no later than noon). In the summer (especially on the weekends) the wait can be very long - sometimes 1-2 hours. The ferry ride is quick though, ~20 minutes. Similarly, if you are taking the ferry back the same day you have a flight, plan to give yourself plenty of extra time just in case. You cannot make reservations for this ferry.
No - you can go up I-5 to Burlington, and go across Deception Pass. However, this will add approximately 90 minutes of driving time to the venue.
Yes - the ceremony is on the grass in a mostly flat area.
In order to comply with our venue's max capacity, we ask that only those who are formally invited on the invitation attend the wedding. However, please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions or would like some clarification about this :)
This is a good option if you would prefer to go back and stay in the city or if you don't want to deal with the ferry on Sunday before your flight. The ferry does run late at night in the summer - here is a link to the ferry schedule. https://www.wsdot.com/Ferries/Schedule/scheduledetailbyroute.aspx?route=muk-cl. Depending on the ferry line, this would potentially be a 2 hour commute from our venue to the Seattle area.
Our venue is close to the Port Townsend ferry. If you would like to stay in Port Townsend, the ferry comes less often and at variable times, so we would recommend making a ferry reservation (you can make a reservation for this one).
Yes you can! The venue just requests that you pick up your car by 9:00 am on Sunday.
