We're getting married!

Erik moved to Portland for college, and took a job as a mechanical design engineer in the area after graduation. When Stephani moved back up to Portland half way through pharmacy school, the two met on a dating app called Coffee Meets Bagel and got together for a beer (or two) at Journey's Pub in Multnomah Village. A few months later Erik bought his first home in Milwaukie, Oregon, and his Boxer pup, Bailey. Stephani and Erik lived together for a year before she matched into her residency program in southern Oregon. They spent a year living apart, and got engaged April 2020 - quarantine engagement for the win! They are now reunited in Portland and loving every second of it. Erik and Stephani welcomed a second pet to the family summer 2020, their rescue pup named Roo. Why Whidbey Island for the wedding, you might ask? Erik's family has had a family cabin on the island since the 1930s, and Erik spent many summers there with family and friends. It has now become a special getaway for Erik and Stephani when they get the chance, and they anticipate many more Whidbey trips in their future. The wedding will not be held at the cabin, but at a nearby venue in Coupeville. The couple is excited to bring together their family and friends on this special day to one of their favorite destinations.
