Terranea Resort
There’s so much to do at Terranea! You can paddleboard or kayak right from the resort’s Beach Cove, or join a guided tide pool walk to see cool marine life up close. Depending on the season, you might even spot whales on a whale-watching tour! If you’re up for a little adventure, check out the guided nature hikes (there are several beautiful hikes right by the hotel), try an archery lesson, or meet some amazing birds of prey at a falconry meet-and-greet. Looking to relax? The spa has everything from massages to facials, there are yoga and fitness classes, and there are several pools to lay out and relax and help you unwind. The Links at Terranea Resort
Players enjoy an expansive, multi-tiered short game practice area with chipping and putting greens, as well as private and group instruction, junior player lessons, and golf clinics led by The Links’ PGA professionals. The Golf House offers premium golf club and walking cart rentals, golf accessories, and apparel, while a relaxed outdoor seating area overlooks the surrounding scenic coastline.
Aquarium of the Pacific
Located on five acres of waterfront property in downtown Long Beach, the Aquarium of the Pacific features marine life of the Pacific Ocean. More than 47 exhibits represent more than 550 species.
Hermosa Beach
The city's flat sandy beach is ideal for sunbathing, beach volleyball, surfing and paddle boarding. Pier Avenue offers a thriving concentration of restaurants and nightlife.
Manhattan Beach Pier
Manhattan Beach is the home of volleyball and surfing. The quaint downtown area offers an eclectic array of boutiques, shops and restaurants. An attractive aquarium sits at the end of the expansive pier.
