We're Getting Married!

Our story begins the day after Stella moves into her freshman apartment. Stella spends the morning and afternoon of September 6th, 2022 grocery shopping and bonding with her roommate Leah. For dinner, she decides to go to the Association of Catholic Tech Students’s trivia night. Stella notices that the host of the event is tall, funny, witty, and quite handsome (despite his wacky black blazer and blue Hawaiian shirt combo). This young man is Jacob, of course. Stella spends the next month pursuing Jacob to no avail (he was discerning the priesthood). However, one Wednesday night after Mass, Stella sits next to Jacob on the jean couch at the Catholic center (nicknamed “the jouch”), and their knees accidentally touch, with neither one pulling away. Intrigued by this interaction, Jacob decides to pray about it for a few days and then asks Stella out on a date to Roma’s, a local Italian restaurant. Stella and Jacob have a successful first date on October 9th, 2022 and begin dating. Stella and Jacob have been deeply in love and committed to each other ever since.
