Getting to Windham Manor
Driving: The scenic drive is 1 hour from Albany, 3 hours from NYC and Long Island, 4 hours from Boston, and 7 hours from Toronto Taxi & Rideshare (e.g. Uber, Lyft): Uber and Lyft exist upstate but there are very few of them and you should not rely on them. At best, it will be a long wait. Local taxis can be scheduled. Please let us know should you have any specific travel questions!
Flight
Plane
Albany (ALB) is the closest international airport. NYC airports JFK, LaGuardia (LGA), and Newark (EWR) also have many options. Stewart International Airport (SWF) in Newburgh NY has limited flight options from Florida and is a 1.5 hour drive from Windham, NY. All airports will require a rental car to get to Windham NY.
Train
Metro North & Amtrak
Train: Metro-North Trains terminate in Poughkeepsie, NY, about 1.5 hours from Windham by car. Amtrak trains also go to Hudson, NY and Albany, both about 1 hour from Windham. All trains will require a rental car to complete the trip
