Flight
Direct flights to Morocco are definitely the easiest in terms of logistics and baggage (there is lots of shopping so we suggest you bring a suitcase). However, this is the most expensive option. If you want to go a cheaper route, we suggest you fly to London, Paris, Amsterdam or Madrid. These cities offer the best options for discount flights to Morocco. There are discount airlines like Ryanair that fly regularly to Morocco from these cities. If the flights to Marrakech are too expensive, you can also fly into Rabat or Casablanca and take the train to Marrakech (4-5 hours). We suggest you check Google.com/flights for the best options.
Hotel
This is our favorite hotel to stay in Marrakech. It is relatively inexpensive, very clean and is in the best location in Marrakech. You are close to the Gueliz neighborhood which has the best restaurants and in the other direction, there are malls and shopping areas. You are farther from the Medina here (probably a half hour walk) but you can easily walk or get a taxi. We like this hotel because it's centrally located, quieter than the Medina and has a nice cafe for the breakfast included and other meals. However, it is very popular so we suggest you book this as soon as possible (we usually book through Hotels.com or Booking.com but you check their website to compare prices).
Hotel
This is one of the two hotels my family and Adil and I may be staying at and we are currently talking with about a block of rooms. This hotel is on the outskirts of Marrakech toward Ourika. This hotel looks really beautiful with nice rooms and a good pool. Transportation is needed to and from Marrakech so it's not walkable. Anyone is welcome to book with us but please check with me first as we're still working out the details.

Hotel
This is one of our favorite riads in the Marrakech Medina because of the location and the quality of the rooms. Riads are traditional Moroccan houses that have been converted into hotels and are a great experience in Morocco.
Hotel
This is another favorite riad of ours in the Marrakech Medina. This one can be harder to book so plan ahead if you want to book here.
Hotel
This is a very nice hotel we've stayed at Essaouria. It's a great alternative to the one we're staying at.
Travel Note
Taxis in Morocco can be very challenging. Many taxi cars do not have meters so you must negotiate the price before you commit to the ride. Don't be afraid to refuse a taxi if the driver is not giving you a good price and try another one. For the airport, there is a fixed rate displayed at the airport of 70 dhs for the small taxi & 100 dh for the big taxi (+50% after 8pm) BUT they always try to rip people off. An alternative is the bus for 30 dhs (I'm not sure where they drop you off) or arrange a driver. I would also suggest contacting your hotel as many have airport shuttles and will give you a fixed price. We will give you a driver to contact if you would like to use him (I'll update soon) as he would be good for both airport transfers and regular transfers.
Rental Car
If you want more freedom or don't want to deal with taxis, renting a car may be a good option. Rental cars are usually very affordable in Morocco. If you want to rent one, you can look up rental cars at Marrakech airport and book through one of those companies. Driving in Morocco can be a little challenging so consider this before renting.
