Mireya met Martha back in college at UC Santa Cruz. Their friendship sparked immediately with a conversation about Mexican politics. Mireya and Martha shared many laughs, dinners, cries, and karaoke nights. Martha is the best cheerleader a friend can have.

Mireya met Carmen back in college. Mireya and Carmen would go on long hikes and hit the dance floors of Steven's Steakhouse for bachata and salsa dancing. We can't forget the banda concerts at Pico Rivera :). As you can see, Carmen is the live of the party with her great dancing skills.

Mireya met Erika back in college when Chris, Erika’s now Husband, invited her to a gathering. After a few hangouts, Mireya and Erika’s friendship few. Erika has become that older sister Mireya can reach out to and the friend who shares the same love for doxens. Erika has two beautiful fur babies. We are still waiting the day until our fur babies meet :)

Mireya met Andrea in 2019 when they both started working for Scripps Mercy Hospital in Chula Vista. They quickly became great co-workers and friends. Andrea being a local from San Diego, introduced Mireya to the best foods and became Mireya's best yelp review :).

Mireya met Haillie during graduate school. Both got closer when they started working for a health study and researching for jobs after graduate school. During this time, Mireya and Haillie got to explore new coffee shops ending with great conversations and laughs.
