Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest," then yes, you may bring a guest. If it doesn't, then we prefer if it was just you.

Do I need a rental car?

Answer

We would definitely recommend a rental car to get around these parts. Whilst public transport is available, it is infrequent and often limited in its reach and reliability. You will have way more freedom exploring the region with a car. However, parking is a little bit of a concern, especially at the Wine Festival, so consider buddying up to share the cost of a car and lessen the burden of parking!

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Temperatures in October go down all over the peninsula as Fall settles in. While there’s a higher probability of rainfall, sunny days are still plentiful. This is one of those months when you’ll probably need both sunglasses and an umbrella on hand, just in case. Average temperatures in October range between 52 and 72 *F, so pack accordingly.
