FAQs

Question

When should we RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by 14 December 2025.

Question

Wedding Gifts

Answer

We’re so grateful to have you join us! No physical gifts or cards, please as we'll be traveling back to the US. Just bring your dancing shoes! If you’d like to give something, consider donating to a charity of your choice or the LunchBox Fund at thelunchboxfund.org.

Question

Who's Invited?

Answer

To help with planning, invitations are for named guests only.

Question

Can we stay at the venue?

Answer

We have booked out the entire venue including all available accommodation from Thursday to Sunday. We hope to accommodate all guests who wish to stay at the venue and we'll be able to confirm accommodation availability once we have received all RSVPs on 14 December 2025. For our guests staying on-site, we kindly ask for a contribution of R1000 / $55 / £45 per person towards room and board for the weekend. Guests staying on-site are welcome to join us at the venue from Thursday or Friday. For guests who do not wish to stay at the venue, we recommend looking for accommodation in Robertson.

Question

What should we bring for the wedding weekend?

Answer

Don't forget to pack your activewear, swimwear and beach towel if you'd like to take advantage of all that the venue has to offer. Please bring along any of your preferred beverages for Friday night's welcome dinner.

Question

How do we get to the venue?

Answer

Pat Busch is roughly a 2.5-hour drive from Cape Town. For our international guests, we recommend flying into Cape Town International Airport (CPT) and either renting a car to enjoy the scenic drive or carpooling with fellow guests.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is Garden Formal - elegant but relaxed for an outdoor celebration and colour is encouraged. For Ladies: We’d love to see you in elegant and breathable attire - floor-length gowns, midi dresses, tailored suits or jumpsuits. Please avoid wearing white. Wedges, flats, or block heels are ideal for the outdoor setting. For Gents: Light suits or dress pants with a collared shirt. Jackets and ties are welcome but not required. Dress shoes or smart loafers work well.
