Both are being held at the Albert Pike Masonic Center in downtown Little Rock. If you Google the venue, it will sometimes appear as the Albert Pike Memorial Temple.

Arkansas in July is HOT. It is also very humid. Luckily, we'll be indoors for the service, but if you want to explore the city expect average temperatures between 85-95F (29-35C).
To be determined
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you. Please feel free to e-mail us with any questions!
If their name are on that invite, they are invited. Just let us know in the RSVP if they can make it, too!
First Presbyterian and Second Baptist churches have parking lots nearby that have been reserved for wedding guests. There are several parking decks and pay lots nearby, so bring a few dollars to be safe. There is an elevator leading into the venue, so contact us if you need more specific directions on how to reach it.
We'll be providing dessert and hearty hors d'oeuvres, but not dinner. It wouldn't hurt to eat something before the ceremony, but save a little room because our caterer and baker are fantastic! We'll have fruits, veggies, and salad for vegetarians and gluten-free guests.
We hope our wedding will be a fun excuse to wear your favorite cocktail attire!
Like Brandon and Sarah, Albert Pike was both a schoolteacher and lawyer. Pike was a teacher and poet from Massachusetts. Not to be outdone by a cousin selected by Pres. Jefferson to explore the new Louisiana Territory, Albert Pike came through Arkansas in the 1830s, mapping the Arkansas River from New Mexico to Mississippi. He settled in Arkansas and began teaching until his letters to a local paper caught the editor's eye. He began to work for the paper, covering court cases. Two years later, he purchased the newspaper and took the Arkansas Bar Exam. He passed, and became known for helping Native Americans sue the US Government for treaty violations. He also passed Louisiana's Bar. During the Civil War, Gen. Pike convinced Native tribes to fight for the Confederacy, but resigned because he disliked Confederate leaders in Arkansas. After the war, Pike became involved with the Masons and established a college in Little Rock.
