We love your little ones, but we have decided to make our wedding reception and ceremony a 21+ adults-only celebration. We hope you can enjoy a fun night out with us, and we appreciate your understanding! If you need any recommendations for childcare in the area, we’d be happy to help.
We would love to keep our wedding as intimate as possible. If you received a plus one, it will be listed on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP through the website. We appreciate your understanding!
Our dress code is cocktail attire! We’d love for our guests to dress stylishly and comfortably. For women, this means cocktail dresses, midi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or chic separates. For men, a suit or blazer with dress pants and dress shoes is perfect. Since our wedding is in late May, lighter fabrics and colors are great options.
If you're able to RSVP as soon as you receive your invitation, it would be extremely helpful! We kindly ask that you RSVP by April 30th. After that date, any unanswered invitations will be marked as 'not attending' due to our vendors' cutoff dates.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to allow ample time to find a seat.
Our venue is located in the heart of Downtown Wilmington, where you'll find plenty of great hotels within walking distance, as well as amazing restaurants, bars, and shopping to explore during your stay. If you prefer something more private, there are also Airbnbs available locally. For those wanting to turn the weekend into a mini beach getaway, you can stay a little farther out in Wrightsville Beach or Carolina Beach, both offering beautiful coastal stays while still being a short drive to downtown.
Please note that transportation will not be provided for the event. However, downtown Wilmington offers several pay-to-park lots, parking decks, and street parking options conveniently located near the venue. For an easy parking experience, we recommend downloading the "Pay to Park" app, where you can quickly upload your license plate and pay for parking throughout the evening. As parking is limited, we do not recommend leaving your car overnight. If you're not staying within walking distance of the venue, we highly encourage using ride-sharing services like Uber for convenience and peace of mind.
The ceremony and reception will be held indoors, while the cocktail hour (weather permitting) will take place outdoors for about 45 minutes.
Of course! We ask that all guests drink responsibly and avoid driving if you're planning to drink. Please make arrangements for a safe ride home—Uber and Lyft are popular options, and our venue is centrally located downtown near many hotels and Airbnbs. Water, tea, and soft drinks will also be available for all - and don’t forget to tip your bartenders. We can’t wait to cheers with you!
While your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for, we understand that some of you may wish to give a physical gift or make a donation. On our wedding website, you'll find all of our registries in one convenient place. We’re also accepting cash gifts for our honeymoon which can also be made in our wedding website.
We are having an "unplugged ceremony," so we kindly ask that no phones or cameras be used during the ceremony. The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present when we say "I do." We’ve hired professionals to capture the moment, and we’ll be sure to share those beautiful photos with you as soon as possible! Feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like after the ceremony! Thank you for your understanding!
