GENERAL INFO We recommend you fly into Edinburgh, although Dundee also has a small regional airport which would be closest depending on connections! Glasgow also has an airport if this is convenient for you- but this will be a longer trip to your accommodations. From Edinburgh to St. Andrews or Dundee it is about 50mi or an hour and ten minute ride by car or train. _____________________________ Getting from the airport to your accommodations: There is a train, taxis, rental cars, or car services for transportation from here to St. Andrews and Dundee. Feel free to book this on your own or utilize our travel agent above to assist you! -Trains from Waverly (Edinburgh) to Dundee take about an hour and cost about 11£ a person. You can buy these at the train station and there are multiple trains a day. If you know your timetable in advance these can be purchased online. -Trains from Waverly (Edinburgh) to St. Andrews go to Leuchars, which then involve a bus transfer into the town proper of St. Andrews. If you choose you can take a Taxi from the Leuchars station instead of the bus. This route is about 15£ a person and is very straight forward despite the transfer. Taxi: Taxi fees can of course vary.
