Boise is a beautiful and walkable town. Check out the greenbelt for a bike ride or walk. Hyde Park in the Northend has some fun shops and places to eat. Downtown (8th Street) has a vibrant restaurant and bar scene. Barbacoa is a unique and artsy (albeit spendy) restaurant experience that is definitely worth checking out. Table Rock is a nice leg burning shorter hike. The old Idaho Penitentiary is a very cool museum with some amazing history of Idaho. This is one of Alli & Stasia's favorite places. YOU HAVE TO MAKE RESERVATIONS IN ADVANCE! They book very quickly!! Rent a private hot spring tub or do the public pool. Order drinks or snacks directly to your soak. The drive is spectacular. You'll wind through Lucky Peak State Park, Boise National Forest, and drive along the Boise River.

Take a gorgeous scenic drive up highway 55. You'll follow the Payette River up through scenic forest. There's places to pull off and stop for amazing photos. McCall has cute shops to explore, some decent food, and a gorgeous lake. If you're feeling a bit fancy and have some money to burn, book a night at the Shore Lodge and do the spa! It's phenomenal!
