Mari Sweet

Bride

Stasch Szczepanski

Groom

Kaytlyn Richards

Maid of Honor

Kaytlyn and I met in September of 2017. I went over to Katie’s apartment with some friends one night and Im pretty sure I never left Katie’s side after that! (Not that Katie minded). Kaytlyn has been my best friend, sister, and the one that picked me up whenever I fell down for the past 6-7 years. I couldn't imagine getting married without her being there. Kaytlyn lives in boyne falls with her beautiful wife Stephanie and her 2 kids Lucas and Raelynn. She has the 2 of the most adorable dogs named Oakley and Khaleesi and 2 cats whose name I couldn't even begin to spell 🤣💕

Sam Hopkinson

Best Man

The first time Sam and I met it was at a work Christmas party. He was telling me about all the fun games he and his friends played and I drunkenly invited myself to go with him the to the next game night. Luckily he was cool enough to let me come. We soon found out we are great friends and get along extremely well. We would go fishing and hunting together. Play games with friends and all in all have a grand ole time. After many years of constant razzing and genuine tom foolery I can honestly say Sam is one of my Best Friends.

Marie Chapa

Bridesmaid

Marie is my favorite cousin.❤️😊Maybe it’s because our names are so much alike or maybe it’s the fact that we were inseparable when it came to pretty much anything growing up. We used to spend almost every Wednesday back exploring and building forts at our Grandparents property or causing trouble inside the house😂 💕 Marie grew up on a beautiful farm in Atwood/Ellsworth. She is one of the most motivated woman I have ever met and is currently with the United States Air Force. I feel completely blessed that I am able to have her be there and be a part of our big day ❤️

Luke Seaney

Groomsman

I met Luke when I transferred to Ellsworth Community Schools in the 8th grade. He was a little turd who I just couldn't figure out how to get along with "sigh teenagers" and would constantly antagonize me. After about a year of trying to fit in with my new class and being on teams with classmates through sports Luke and I became friends. We would hang out together after school.

Brenda Sweet

Bridesmaid

Brenda and I met once a year (if she was there) at Marie’s birthday parties before I moved to Ellsworth. I always thought she was cool and really nice. When I switched to Ellsworth schools the only people I knew were Marie’s friends and they were nice enough to accept me like they’d always knew me 😊 After that it was a blur of sports together, getting ready for and going to school dances, cheering on the other sport teams, and lots of sleep overs (usually at the Sundelius house). Eventually through high school I made friends more my age and we drifted apart, but then somehow magically she started dating my younger brother Lucas. They fell in love and continued building their relationship after high school. She said yes to Lucas and became a part of our crazy Sweet family when they got married Feb.05.2022 ❤️ Brenda and Lucas live in Atwood with their son Levi and their two dogs Macy and Harper 🐶 I couldn’t imagine getting married without her being a part of it 😊#bestsisterinlawever

Kevin Eggers

Groomsman

Kevin and I were in the same class in high school. He was the quiet kid who didn’t make any trouble. We started hanging out sometime around freshmen to sophomore year and have been good friends ever since. We have been doing a yearly bird hunting trip for years now and always going fishing together. Always fixing up old trucks and working on semi trucks.

Tiffany Sweet

Bridesmaid

Tiffany has been my rock for as long as I can remember. As my sister, she embraced her role wholeheartedly, going above and beyond for me more times than I can count. 😊 From whipping up little “three-course meals” when our parents went shopping to teaching me the ropes of driving on back roads, she has always been there to guide me. I’ll never forget the time she drove all the way from Alabama to Kentucky in the middle of the night to come to my rescue—talk about sisterly love! Of course, we’ve had our fair share of sibling disagreements; our matching attitudes can clash like thunder! But even during those moments, Tiffany remains one of the few people I know I can turn to when I need support. She is not just an incredible sister but also an amazing mother to my beautiful nieces, Amelia and Lydia, who are our delightful flower girls. As a teacher in East Jordan, she inspires those around her every day. I am so grateful to have her by my side on this special journey❤️

Jacob Szczepanski

Groomsman

This is my little brother Jacob. I’ve known him since he was born. Not to brag or anything but I named him. Pretty good name right?! Anyway Jacob and I grew up like normal siblings, playing games, fighting over toys, we even had bunk beds at one point. (definitely don’t miss those beds) After high school Jacob went on to college right away and earned a bachelor degree. He proposed to his high school sweetheart in 2023 and is getting married in June 2025 on their 10 year anniversary of being a couple.

Ally Hatfield

Bridesmaid

Ally and I met when I switched to Ellsworth schools. We had a few of the same friend groups and were in pretty much all the same sports so we soon became friends. Even though we were a few years apart in high school that didn’t stop us from jumping off the dock and into the lake in Ellsworth, being crazy at sleep overs, and making sure we all had our faces painted for Lancer pride! Ally was always funny and energetic whether we were on the bus for sports, in the stand cheering on the boys basketball team or at dance! I still remember when Jake and Ally were in their “crushing stage.” Always shooting each other looks and being all nervous around each other it was cute! I remember on the way home from a track meet once I was trying to convince them to give it a shot and see if they were good for each other. I’m not saying it worked, but hey they’re getting married June 2025!
