Stasch and Mari met in high school. Mari was a grade below Stasch. When she transferred over from her old school she ended up having all her classes with the grades above her and none with her actual grade so she saw Stasch quite a bit in high school. They eventually ended up getting to know each other more through classes and mutual friends. Soon they exchanged phone numbers and facebook information and were talking to each other as much as they could! 💬 They had so much in common time seemed to fly by for them and they were so happy! Stasch eventually ended up taking Mari to her very first prom where they would dance the night away! 💃🕺 A few more months went by and they both realized they had some learning and growing to do so they decided to go their separate ways. They did stay friends though. 🥰 Almost a year later after the next prom at a party Mari started feeling really uncomfortable but didn’t want to call her parents and ask them to come get her. Just when she was about to panic Stasch was there to be her safe person and help comfort her and get her in a quiet spot for the night. So she could go home safely in the morning. They both knew they still had some growing to do so they never actually dated again for a while Almost 9 years after Stasch graduated (the last time they’d seen each other) Mari saw Stasch in her suggested friends on Snapchat and sent him a friend request. Of course she’s a wimp and she thought he’d delete it so she deleted it before he even had the chance. BUT THANK THE LORD FOR EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS! 🔔 Stasch got an email saying that “Mari Sweet had tried to add him on Snapchat”. He noticed the request for Mari to add him was no longer in his Snapchat, but he sent her an add back! ❤️ They started talking about life and what they’d been doing since high school. At first it was just a few messages a day and soon they were messaging all day every day. Talking about anything and everything; just getting to know each other again. A few months went by of never really seeing each other in person or hanging out as friends due to different work schedules and them Stasch leaving for a long vacation, but all that did was make their bond seem stronger even without seeing each other at all. They both had feelings for each other but neither was going to say it first. When Stasch got back from vacation they hung out for a few weeks as friends and soon they both were inseparable whenever they had spare time they were with each other or on the phone with each other until they fell asleep or Maris phone overheated and hung up the call. It took Stasch a little while but he finally asked Mari to be his girlfriend. (Of course that was after Mari accidentally let “I love you” slip out over the phone when they were telling each other goodnight) Mari eventually moved into Staschs house and Hank (Stasch’s pup) gained a brother. (Mari’s pup Mikey) They have spent the last year or so helping each other build and grow and work towards the best version of themselves both together and as individuals. While still finding some time to have a little fun. Together they hope to someday grow their family and go to their kid’s weddings, but for now they would like you to come and celebrate their marriage with them 💕
