Joe
Groom
This tall drink of water is affectionately known as "Joe Star" in many circles. Some favorites include Star Wars, all Denver sports teams, beer, whiskey, and Jenni. As the number one griller in our home and major party thriller, Joe's kind of a big deal.
Jenni
Bride
This delicate flower is primarily known as "the Jenni Page" or "Buzz". Ya'girl rocks shenanigans, serious nostalgic hobbies, all the books, puzzles, Denver sports, Joie de Vivre, and Joe-Joe. Jenni's proud to be the main house decorator and primary party coordinator.
Justin
Best Man
Justin was there when Jenni & Joe first met. We wouldn't give him credit, but we wouldn't discount his involvement either. J never fails to make people laugh and never fails to make people roll their eyes. He is, of course, an avid volleyballer and bottom-of-the-barrel shirt wearer.
Liz
Best Woman
Liz is the reason Jenni was even playing at Oasis again, and the reason Jenni & Justin were playing on a doubles team together the day Joe & Jenni met. Liz & Jenni lived together for at least 1,000 years (read about a year give or take a couple of months) and together have some really great assets and one really badass closet. Liz is Jenni's official hypeman.
Jason
Groomsman
Jantz and Joe have gotten into international debauchery together. If it weren't for Jason, Joe may not have been playing volleyball, especially at Oasis. These two can always be counted on for travel, hooliganism, and backing their people up, broken bones and all. They also tend to get into giggling fits together and are very good at getting projects done together.
Katie
Bridesbabe
Katie Black has been around since almost the dawn of JP's sand volleyball career. They shared a house, several volleyball teams, a workplace, and lots of great memories. Katie even saved Jenni's life once. Katie, with her pink plaid couch, is really great at making stuff up including amazing crafty things and line dances that they get the entire dance floor in on spontaneously. Katie is also the OG fancy pants partner.
Jeff
Groomsman
Joe and Jeff met 9 years ago working together. The two became fast friends, and shenanigans were had. Jenni & Jeff kept missing each other when Joe & Jenni started dating. He was dubbed Nessy (short for Loch Ness Monster), and she was Sas (short for Sasquatch) since they were both basically mythical creatures and they didn't meet each other for so long.
Katie
Bridesbabe
Katie contributed to Jenni & Joe taking on the official "dating" status. The two officially started dating after attending a Rockies game with Katie & Luke. We sealed our status by high five and have kept the tradition alive ever since. We've enjoyed game nights, chicken dances, camping, sports fandom and family nights a-plenty. Katie is Joe's current and Jenni's future sister.
Connor
Groomsman
Friends since playing baseball at 4 years old, Connor and Joe also played soccer together and went to high school and college together. We love hopping over to Florida to spend some quality time with Connor and family. Joe and Connor are both seasoned roof jumpers, but I wouldn't put them in the base of my stunt group.
Laura
Bridesbabe/Twin
Laura, more commonly known to Jenni as Lauwa and Yoyo, is Jenni's twin. They've traveled together, wrote letters when traveling separately, and think-tanked each other almost to death. They absolutely love each other in their mutual weirdness and do not expect anyone to understand. They fully intend to be ridiculous and ironic at all ages, especially in the golden years. The KFC guy was right when he said they'd been sprinkled with a little extra helpin' of crazy dust.
Kam
Ring Security
Joe's stylish cousin, Kam, is in charge of the ring security. Kam spends most of his time being cool as a cucumber in Montana.
Lily
Petal Patrol
Jenni's neice, Lily, will patrol all the petals. Lily is already showing some of the flare you'd expect out of a relative of Jenni.
Leslie
Officiant 2021
Leslie and Jenni met playing volleyball behind an LGBTQ latinx club. You name it, and Jenni and Leslie have probably bonded over it - dancing, karaoking, puzzling, hot tubbing, traveling, our guys’ similarities. I always knew Leslie would be marrying me one day!
Andrew
Officiant 2020
Andrew started as a friend of a friend and became so much more. Lover (and very serious player) of skip bo, Jenni and Joe asked Andrew via skip bo card to officiate the wedding. We made sure he’d had a couple of drinks so that he was extra primed for the shenanigans. He’s our go to for a host at elevation and for “more scotch, eh?”.
