Even today, their communication is seamless, they can easily sit on the phone for hours exchanging laughter and spilling the best tea. Kierra's presence through countless milestones makes her Starr’s absolute go-to for comfort, fun, and support.

While his official title is "Best Man," Darrell is truly more than that to Jimmie—he is a Best Friend who understands Jimmie in ways that few others can. Their years-long bond has only brought them closer, built on shared adventures and a mutual love for competitive hobbies like airsoft shooting. Darrell has a strong head on his shoulders, but is also always ready to get into good trouble alongside Jimmie! Jimmie and Starr feel incredibly lucky to have Darrell's genuine care and sincere investment in their relationship as he stands by them on their wedding day.

They know they can talk about anything, at any time, and always walk away stronger. Starr introduced Lea to Jimme, and they instantly clicked through the shared love of their favorite artist. We couldn't imagine anyone else to share this experience with.

Starr has one of Jimmie's most valuable friends as a bridesmaid. If there is such a thing as a genuine, ride-or-die partner in crime, it would absolutely be Morgan. She and Jimmie have been inseparable since the 5th grade, making her Jimmie's oldest friend— and they have countless hilarious stories to prove it all! Throughout their adolescence, they could often be found pushing each other hard at the gym, running drills on the basketball court, or most memorably, figuring out how to get into some sort of unforgettable trouble. They truly were the dynamic duo: the absolute worst fear of their teachers, but always each other's biggest fan. Morgan's presence is a true comfort—she's the keeper of Jimmie's history.

If there was anyone that Jimmie would call for some raw advice, it would be Jerry. He’s five years her senior, and growing up, that age difference meant he was her original big brother role model. That hasn't changed; he’s the person she consistently turn to when she needs grounded, intelligent advice. Jimmie has always been amazed by his ability to analyze complex situations, especially when it comes to finance and figuring things out—if there's a problem, he's the first one to find an efficient solution. Despite all that wisdom, their relationship is built on a foundation of laughs. They love joking around and share a very similar sense of humor, which makes bonding over their shared hobbies, even better!

Avrianna and Starr had that rare, instant click from the moment they first hung out. It's a relationship built on perfect balance: Starr is always there as Anna's reliable shoulder to lean on, while Anna has a wonderful way of drawing Starr out of her shell. Quickly Anna became one of Starr's closet friends just from the energy she gives off. They are each other's person knowing that wherever they go, as long as they have each other, the time spent will be the best time.

Jabri is Jimmie's closest sibling. While he is only a year and a half older, they grew up like actual twins. And just like real twins, the two spent 90% of that time in a state of mutual annoyance. He is, without a doubt, the most irritating person Jimmie knows, but also the person she could never live without. He’s the one who taught her to stand up for herself and for what she believes. Jabri has been around to witness every one of Jimmie's bad decisions, good times, and questionable moments. He has been her biggest critic and loudest fan. Jabri has been and will be one of her strongest pillars.

Starr's favorite cousin, Sara, is truly the little sister of her heart. Their bond is unbreakable, solidified by the many periods they spent living together. Their closeness meant constant companionship, with their best memories being built on simple pleasures: building sandcastles at the beach, drawing pictures with chalk on the driveway, and fueling long sessions of The Sims with peanut butter sandwiches. Whatever Starr wanted to do, she made sure Sara was there to experience it, creating an effortless, timeless connection. Their history is painted with sunshine, some pain, and nostalgia.

Danard has been a bonus brother for as long as Jimmie can remember. They met when they were barely out of kindergarten and his presence has been a common feature. Danard has been woven into the fabrics of Jimmie’s life and family. When they were kids you would find them getting into trouble, usually culminating in a loud, dramatic, and likely unfair wrestling match in the living room. From sharing every milestone, every family holiday, and every questionable childhood adventure, they built a bond that goes deeper than friendship—it’s truly siblinghood.

This is a guy who ensures that even the most boring game is worth watching. Jimmie has personality made calls to Quincy while sitting in the stands of a 76ers basketball game just to be sure about her parlays.
