FAQs

The Wedding Website of Heather Staplin and Colin Parnell
Question

How and when should I RSVP

Answer

To RSVP, please click the RSVP tab here on our website and type in your name. All invited guests in your party will appear here to mark as "attending" or "declining." We ask that you kindly RSVP before May 25, 2026.

Question

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by May 25, 2026, you will be marked as "not attending." We would love celebrating with you, however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVP's.

Question

What if I RSVP'd and can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! Life happens, no worries. Please let the bride or groom know as soon as possible that you will no longer be in attendance.

Question

Where is the wedding located?

Answer

The wedding will be at Sanborn County Park at Sequoia Peterson Grove. https://maps.app.goo.gl/ooJvhPYNGoQgEpwK9

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

There are three parking lots within the park that are all open to the public. Park in the lot closest to Sequoia Peterson Grove, where the ceremony and reception will take place. If that parking lot is full the next closest parking lot is near the entrance kiosk. If those are both full the last parking lot is further up the hill near the Costanoan Picnic Area. PLEASE NOTE: there is an entrance fee to get into the park that the bride and groom would like to cover for you. In order to do so you must notify them who you are carpooling with by the RSVP deadline of May 25, 2026.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:30 in the afternoon. Please arrive by 2 pm to ensure you have plenty of time to park and make your way to the ceremony location. Once the ceremony has started, you won't be able to take a seat.

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dress up with us! But we do understand this is an outdoor wedding in a park. So, we are encouraging all of our guests to dress up to their comfort level from garden attire to semi-formal. For example: floral sundresses and trousers with a button up to suits and a gown. Please just no jeans. Some inspiration for your attire: https://pin.it/1EZgJnzVt

Question

Can I take pictures and/or video during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present when we say "I do." Our photographer will capture this moment for us, and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like, and don't forget to share them with us!

Question

Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

In an effort to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. Your formal invitation will be made out to "{Your Name} & Guest" if you have received a plus one - they will also appear under your name when you RSVP.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

For our special day, we have decided to keep our wedding adults-only, with exception to our immediate family whose children are named on their formal invitation. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! We are registered at four locations: Zola, My Registry, Macy's, and Bloomingdales. Please explore the Registry section on our website for more information. Links for My Registry, Macy's, and Bloomingdales are at the very bottom of the page.
