What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at The Ivy House between 3:15 PM and 3:45 PM CDT to allow ample time for parking and getting seated before the procession begins at 4:00 PM CDT.

Is there parking at the ceremony location?

Answer

Yes! There is a parking lot for 60 cars at the Ivy House. There is also nearby street parking available. We recommend carpooling or using Uber/Lyft to limit the number of cars at the venue or arriving early to secure a space.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask the phones and cameras are put away during our wedding ceremony. We have a wonderful photographer who will be able to capture the ceremony and all of its special moments

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all guests comfortably within the venue's capacity, we ask that only invited guests attend our wedding festivities. You'll find the details about your party size, including whether it includes a plus one, on your invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you!

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

We are so excited to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! We are requesting semi-formal attire for our wedding. Knee, tea, or midi length dresses are welcome as well as jumpsuits, separates, or a suit and tie (of any color). Please refrain from white or off-white materials as well as jeans. The ceremony will be taking place indoors, however the patio will be open for conversation and cocktails so please dress for Wisconsin April. Bonus points from Sydney if you wear colors to match the season and wedding!

What if I did not RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not receive your RSVP by March 24th it will be automatically marked as "Not Attending". We will miss celebrating with you, but it is imperative that we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time they have given us. Feel free to reach out to Sydney or Logan once you realize you have missed the RSVP deadline to see if there is any accommodation that may be made, but there is no guarantee there will be. Thank you for your understanding.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Milwaukee weather is about as unpredictable as you can get, but typical late April weather in Milwaukee is an average of mid 50s during the day and cooler in the evening.
