Question

What should guests consider prior to traveling for the wedding?

Answer

1) Please acquire your COVID-19 vaccination when you become eligible. Completion of vaccination 2 weeks prior to coming to the wedding is ideal to achieve full benefit. 2) Celebrate from home if you have a temperature >/= 100.4, have any new worrisome symptoms, or have had a known COVID exposure without proper protective equipment. 3) Please review our safety implementations and expectations on this page to confirm your comfort with attending our wedding events. 4) Assess your comfort level with child travel, given children are not currently eligible for vaccination.

Question

What safety parameters are in place for COVID-19?

Answer

We anticipate more than 95% of our adult guests will be fully vaccinated by the date of the wedding. We kindly ask guests to manage their own personal safety during the wedding, including mask use, social distancing and hand sanitization, to a level that is comfortable for them. Please review the following expectations and safety precautions that we have implemented: 1) Proper mask use will be required if you are using the hotel block shuttles while in the vehicle to and from the wedding. 2) Please wear your mask when you are approaching the bar or buffet as a courtesy to the vendors and staff. 3) All vendors and staff will be wearing masks during their service as well as temperature checked. 4) All wedding events will be in an outdoor location regardless of weather conditions, to allow for vaccinated guests to choose mask use or not, as they desire. 5) Dining tables will be set for 8 individuals. We will make every attempt to group individuals by family or friend groups.

Question

Can we bring our children?

Answer

Children and family are so important to us, and we recognize many guests will be choosing to use this event for a family vacation. For the Wedding Ceremony and Wedding Reception, we will have child care services available at The Lodge, so you can have a night off, dust off those dancing shoes and celebrate with us! The Lodge is just a few steps away from the wedding spaces for you to visit your children as you desire throughout the evening. Dinner and activities will be provided for them. If you think you have a jitter bug, little singer or budding orator in the family, then we kindly and respectfully ask that our ceremony be just for the adults given the formality and significance of this event. Thank you for honoring this. We will also reserve a clean, unused bedroom and full bathroom in The Lodge for children to nurse, nap, or just take a break from all the festivities. Please note that we will not have child care services for the family-friendly Welcome Party.

Question

Is this an unplugged wedding?

Answer

Yes it is! We look forward to making memories with all of you at this exciting celebration, but we kindly ask that you please do not take pictures, film video, or use your phones during our wedding ceremony. Thank you in advance for honoring that request!

Question

What's the weather like in the mountains?

Answer

Usually the high temperatures can reach 85 degrees and the lows down to 65 degrees. Scattered showers are common in the mountains. Definitely bring a shawl or light coat and we will have covered areas and umbrellas available for any rain showers!

Question

Are shuttles provided to and from the wedding events?

Answer

For those staying in the wedding block at the Best Western and Holiday Inn Express, we will have scheduled shuttles to take you to and from the wedding venue. Please be in the hotel lobby no later than 4:30pm to board for the wedding. You are required to wear your mask while on the shuttle per company rules and request. Please note that we will not have shuttle transportation available for the Welcome Party. Parking is available on site.

Question

Are there cabs or ride share available?

Answer

Please note that no cabs or ride share are available at Betty’s Creek. As such, we have transportation shuttles available to those staying in the wedding block at the Holiday Inn Express and Best Western for the wedding celebration. Shuttles will not be available for the Welcome Party on Friday night. We recommend parties driving to the Vineyards at Betty’s Creek have a designated driver plan for safe celebrating!

Question

Do you have hotel blocks?

Answer

Yes! Please see our lodging recommendations under the Travel tab.

Question

Are there services for those with limited mobility?

Answer

Yes. Parking is available on the site. If you have limited mobility or would like to limit walking, there are golf carts available to bring guests to the various event sites on the property. Please feel free to contact the bride, groom, or their parents with any specific concerns and we will be happy to address them with the property manager!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the dress codes are listed under each event in the Schedule tab. For the Welcome Party, the dress code is dressy casual. Dress code for the Wedding is semiformal with black tie optional. Both events will be indoor-outdoor settings. Please stop by the Lodge for Farewell Brunch before you leave town. Dress code is casual for your travels!
