On September 7th, 2019, after about 16 months together, Daniel surprised Jessica by asking her to spend the day in their favorite place- Untermyer Garden. When they arrived, there was a violinist and a cellist set up in the amphitheater with photographers and guests surrounding them. Daniel took Jessica's hand and they walked over to get a glimpse of the commotion. As they approached, "Can't Help Falling in Love" started playing. Daniel pulled Jessica through the crowd, up to the musicians. He got down on one knee and took her hand, "will you be my wife?" he asked. After laughs and tears Jessica responded "yes, of course!" One surprise after the next, Danny told Jessica that he had a photoshoot planned. They spent the next hour wandering through the garden, holding back tears and sharing in their excitement.
