The venue is only reachable by car. If using Google Maps, search for "Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch." There is plenty of parking and cars may be left overnight. Uber and Lyft are alternatives to driving.
There is plenty of parking available at the venue. You may leave your car overnight on both Sunday and Monday nights. We ask all cars be picked up no later than 10am on Tuesday morning.
Attire for the Welcome Dinner is casual. You are welcome to join us before and enjoy the pool and lawn games - no need to change for dinner! Attire for the wedding is cocktail attire. Please note the entire venue is grass and dirt roads, so please wear appropriate footwear. Stilettos are not recommended. Also, both the ceremony and reception will be outside in direct sunlight. Light clothing with a jacket/sweater for the evening and sunscreen and sunglasses are highly recommended!
Typically in October, Phoenix is sunny and around 80F/28C. Temperatures can vary, getting as hot as 100F/37C or as low as 50F/10C in the evenings. We recommend light clothing, with a jacket/sweater for once the sun goes down!
Our wedding celebrations will be adult only events. (We want our very best friends and family all-to-ourselves for the weekend!) We recognize that you may be traveling with your children and we have local childcare options listed on the Travel page. Please contact them directly to make arrangements.
As wifi on the ranch is limited, we will have a mobile hotspot for international travelers that may need to send or receive messages during the events. While at the ranch, we ask that you do not send or download large files/emails or stream music or video, as the wifi is extremely limited. If you do required a stronger Internet connection while at the ranch, we ask you please purchase a local data SIM card. We kindly ask our US-based attendees to please use data to help reserve the wifi for our international guests.
Yes! We have exclusive use of the ranch, so after the reception ends, all guests are welcome to continue the celebrations on the upper lawn. Please note, those staying later than the shuttle service will need to use Uber or Lyft to return to your hotel. Please no drinking and driving!
While our wedding venue does have the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere, it is only a 20 minute drive from the nearby town of Fountain Hills. There you can find supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, gas stations and much more! Downtown Phoenix is only a 40 minute drive away too for those looking to explore the city!
