When we were kids we promised each other two things. 1) We would always get each other Christmas presents. 2) When we got married, we would be each other's Maid of Honor. We have always kept the first promise, I was my sister's maid of honor for her wedding, and now finally it's my turn to have my sister be my Maid of Honor. Valerie, I am so thankful for all your help and for everyday I've spent with you since the day you were born.

We have been friends since High School, but we became best friends as college roommates. Sho Tin has changed my life in so many ways it's hard to put into words, but one thing I can say for sure is my life is better because she is my best friend. Thank you for all the laughter, for sharing tears, shopping trips, and always introducing me to the best food places.

With Josh, it's hard to get one best man. In his eyes, everyone's the best man. However, Stacy would be upset if I have 8 Bestman so it's capped at two. Martino is his little brother and they've been waging war on each other for over two decades, whether it's video games, basketball, or life. Regardless, they always have each other's back.

Julie and I became friends in college. During the pandemic when we quarantining ourselves away from the world, Julie and I would speak to each other on the phone every single day. It meant so much for me to hear her voice and solidified what I already know, that when you have true friends, you are never alone. Julie is always kind and thoughtful of other people, not to mention a truly amazing cook.

Technically Joshua's younger uncle, they grew up together in the Philippines, playing with toy cars and video games. However they were separated when Gian moved to California and eventually at an early age, they finally reunited together when Joshua moved to NY in 2006 and they both picked up where they left off and played video games together again.

Patricia and I became friends when I took classes at Lehman College around the same time I met Josh. We instantly bonded over being the oldest people in our class. Without Patricia I don't think I would have survived the lab classes or physics. Her advise on Filipino culture was invaluable, she is a true friend, always supportive, and easily one of the smartest people in any room.

Josh and Julian met back in high school. Along with Tim and Jerin, they formed a formidable team in video games and in real life. Josh and Julian were also in the school rock band that disbanded in two weeks because their singer got bronchitis - nobody got time for that

Teresa and I met through college, in my opinion she is the cool collected one of our group. She never hesitates to pick up the phone even if it's just to tell you she will call you back. She is an amazing friend and always goes out of the way to be supportive. One of the things I admire most about Teresa is her business savvy and spirit for adventure.

Josh and Tim met first back in high school when they were forced to go to Dance class together when their dance teacher tried to break their leg. Their bond over their teacher's attempted murder, never faded as they kept in touch after high school and played video games together to this day.

Christian, Sabrina, and I were housemates our last 2 years of college. It was some of the best times of our life. Christian is the most photogenic person and best dancer I know. He always makes me laugh and has been there for me for the best and worse times and I am so greatful.

One of Joshua's first friends working in the Emergency Room, they clicked on their first encounter and became break buddies to eventually becoming best friends and bonding over drinks every night after their shifts.

I was lucky enough to meet Katrina through Josh, they are cousins. Katrina has been incredibly helpful with wedding planning and I am incredibly thankful. I look forward to getting to know her even more as the years pass.

One of Joshua's first friends working in the Emergency Department, his very friendly demeanor made Joshua feel welcome in his new career. Both worked hand in hand in many emergencies and traumas throughout the years and even in the pandemic, so you can say their friendship was built through blood, sweat, and tears.

Sabrina, Christian, and I all became close friends in college. One of the strongest memories I have of the time is how terrible we were as cooks back then. Through endless laughter and some tears Sabrina and I have always been there for each, not even thousands of miles dull this friendship. Although she cannot travel back to the US at this time, I hope to visit her again in Malta one day.
