Yes! Newlands Golf and Country Club has extensive parking with over 600 spots available. There are two parking lots, so if you can not find a spot, just keep driving around until you find one. Parking is FREE!
Our ceremony and reception will both be indoors. The building is equipped with AC so everything will be temperature controlled. Please dress according to your body type depending if you are going through menopause or not.
Not currently, but if we do we will be sure to update everyone. There are lots of hotels and bed & breakfasts near the venue to choose from.
We do NOT have a shuttle service, but we do not want anyone drinking and driving. Please arrange for a ride or you have the option to take an UBER. If you need help with this we will have people around to help arrange for a ride, just let us know ahead of time if you will need assistance!
Dress code is semi-formal. We hope everyone can do there best to look their very best. No PJ's, no sweats, no dirty clothes. You will have to watch the wedding through the conservatory windows if you look like a homeless person.
YES! Please let us know in advance if you have specific dietary restrictions and we will have a special plate made for you. There will be a lot of gluten free options in the buffet, but we will have a special plate made for you if needed.
A cash bar will be available during the reception. Drink tickets will be sold, so please remember to bring cash. Pricing is still being finalized, but each table will start the evening with one bottle of red and one bottle of white wine.
We will need to flip the room from ceremony set-up to reception decor so we will be offering punch in the lobby (alcoholic and non-alcoholic options) and you can drink this in the lobby or out on the patio if the weather is nice! This process should only take 30 minutes.
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, we would appreciate cash to contribute to our honeymoon fund. A wedding card box will be at our reception.
Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone finds the venue, finds parking, and is seated on time. Ceremony is set to start at 5pm sharp and the Bride and Groom will NOT be late ;)
