After chatting online for a short time, we decided to finally meet in person for a walk along the Alouette River in Maple Ridge. As we strolled along the river, sharing stories and laughing together, it felt as if we had known each other for years. We walked for hours, completely wrapped up in conversation, enjoying each other’s company. The connection between us was effortless, and from that day forward, we’ve been virtually inseparable. That simple walk on a warm summer day marked the beginning of something truly special. Little did we know, it was the start of a beautiful journey together that would change our lives forever.

During our trip to Toronto in March 2024, we set out on an adventure to explore the city together. Being from the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Cory had always wanted to share more of his roots with Stacy. Our day began with a visit to Ripley’s Aquarium, followed by a beer at Steam Whistle Brewery, and a relaxing lunch before heading to Casa Loma—a breathtaking castle nestled in the heart of the city. What Stacy didn’t know was that Cory had been in touch with a photographer and videographer throughout the day, carefully planning the perfect moment to propose. As we explored the castle and admired the stunning views, everything felt magical—the weather was perfect, and the scenery was unforgettable. When we stepped out onto the terrace, surrounded by the grandeur of the castle, Cory received the signal he had been waiting for. As we looked out at the beautiful cityscape, Cory got down on one knee and asked Stacy to be his partner for life. Overwhelmed with joy, she said yes! He slipped an exquisite ring onto her finger—a symbol of forever, filled with promises of love, laughter, and endless adventures. To celebrate, we spent the afternoon taking engagement photos around the castle and down in Graffiti Alley, capturing the happiness of the moment. Cory then surprised Stacy with a reservation at a beautiful steakhouse downtown, where we toasted to our engagement over a delicious meal. We couldn’t be more excited to continue our love story, making memories in every corner of the world, together.
