She was 19 and he was 21. They had met through mutual friends and became friends themselves. He would stop by Jamba Juice where she worked to pick up a (free) smoothie after he got off of work. Short visits turned into longer ones and soon he was waiting for her to get off work so they could hang out and slackline in the park in the evenings. He was exciting to her, and different from the other boys!! It was just fun with Lane. Almost 10 years and many adventures later, they are still having so much fun together. They have evolved throughout their 20s together and made a life in their cozy home with their 3 cats in Downtown San Jose, and now are planning their next adventure: getting married!
