We met at Jack's Family Restaurant. We became friends and found ourselves trying to find excuses to talk to each other at work. After a few months, we went to Dairy Queen after a long shift and accidentally stayed until 2am chatting on the patio (don't worry, no staff were forced to stay). After the night at DQ and a few chance encounters outside of work, we met up for a lunch and the rest is history!

After a very fun day celebrating our one year anniversary at Canada's Wonderland, John surprised me with a proposal at my parent's house. It was picture perfect with John under the patio lights all dressed up. John had been claiming for weeks beforehand that July 15th would be the "Best Day Ever" and he was right. Until October 10th rolls around that is!
