We met on Bumble (thanks, Bumble!) after unknowingly crossing paths for years around Royal Oak. We officially met up for ice cream at Cold Truth in Detroit, and from the start, conversation came easy. A few days later, we grabbed tacos, and something about being together just felt different — like time slowed down. That summer, we made time for each other and explored all the things we love about Michigan. A drive up to Bellaire sealed our feelings for one another — we had the best time road-tripping across the state together, laughing the whole way. A few months into our relationship, we planned a music festival trip knowing this was something really meaningful for the following year. Over the past few years, we’ve taken our time learning about one another, growing through life. Through it all, we came to the shared decision that being married to each other is something we truly want — and we’re really excited for what’s ahead.
