Answer

Yes! The couple must have an accurate count of all guests to provide to the caterer. Please be sure to complete and return your RSVP card with the specific name(s) and number of those attending.

What is the weather like in Maryland/DC in October?

Answer

In Washington, DC and Maryland, the weather in October is typically fall-like, with temperatures dropping rapidly from the beginning of the month to Halloween. The average high temperature at the beginning of October is in the mid-70s, while the average low temperature by Halloween is in the low-to-mid-60s.

Are there other hotel options for guests or just the three listed on the travel page?

Answer

The couple wanted to give a few options to help narrow the choices down and offer a reasonable rate. The goal is to have the out of town guests in hotels that are easily accessible to restaurants, entertainment, and the highway. Yes, there are various hotel options close to the suggested hotels and in the DMV area as a whole. Please make note of the deadline for booking your room if you choose one of the three suggested accommodations.

Is the venue close to the designated hotels?

Answer

The venue is located in Silver Spring, MD. All of the suggested hotels are in central locations to allow our guest to enjoy all that the area has to offer. Therefore, it is highly encouraged that guests allow adequate time to drive to the location. Be sure to consider possible traffic delays when planning out the desired arrival time.

What is the attire for the marriage celebration?

Answer

For an afternoon wedding, appropriate attire is typically considered semi-formal, which means a cocktail dress, a nice dressy skirt, or a well-tailored suit with a dress shirt and tie for men.

Is there designated parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is free parking at the venue. However, please note that the venue is located in a private community. Guests will enter the property at the Georgia Avenue entrance and inform the guard at the gate that they are attending a private event in the Crystal Ballroom at Clubhouse I. After gaining access, make a left at the stop sign and the parking lot will be on the immediate right. The venue is directly adjacent to the guard station and is visible when you enter the property.

Yes. You can visit the Registry page/tab for all of the details and options. You can contribute directly on the page or at the reception. There will be a designated area for cards/gifts at the venue.
