Baby Beach is about a 45-minute drive from Noord, but well worth the visit! There is a convenient Tiki Bar with a pool next to the beach. You can snorkel and view sea turtles here as well! As you walk around you will notice the giant ancient coral that has washed up on the shore. You will pass Boca Grande on the way to and from Baby Beach and can see extreme kite surfing from here. It's pretty awesome! There are lots of hidden treasures around this area if you dare to explore : )
The original city of Aruba! Some of the best restaurants in Aruba can be found here: Flying Fishbone, Zeerover, and Old Man and The Sea. Savaneta also has some of the prettiest water and BEST snorkeling, but be careful, waters can be shallow with lots of coral and rocks. If you have time to take a guided tour on kayaks it would be well worth it!
Located very close to our Villas is the California Light House, with amazing views and fresh coconut to enjoy at the base of the lighthouse. For only $5, you can walk to the top of the lighthouse. You can also make a private dinner reservation at the top for a special night. It is VERY WINDY at the top so hang on to your hats : )
Not only is this "One Happy Island" but it is also one windy island! There are many places to learn to kite surf just south of our villas and the waters are beyond beautiful! Let the pros show you how to do it : )
Get ready for an epic day of snorkeling with sea turtles! Bring a pool noodle and snorkeling gear so you can hang out as long as you want with these precious creatures. They are close to the shore and easy to spot while they eat seagrass and do their thing. Along the coast, you will also see lots of tropical fish, sea urchins, and much more. The rocks around on some beaches are sharp so wear good shoes!
There are lots of 4x4 rental places in Aruba, but GoCherry was amazing! This is the best way to see highlights of the East Side of the Island. On these tours, you get to see and do many things! Here are the places the tours will take you: Bushiribana Gold Mill Ruins, Natural Bridge, Shark Bay, Andicuri Beach, Three Bridges, Black Stone Beach, and Cave Pool with cliff jumping. Be prepared to get dirty & wet and absorb the history of Aruba! Suggested: Wear something you don't care to get dirty, a bandana and good shoes!
Oranjestad is where you can go to check out local shopping and gift stores. Remember you don't get taxed on anything less than $800 so it's a good place to buy some of that expensive jewelry you have always wanted : )
Eagle Beach just south of Noord (villas) has some of the prettiest beaches but is a little more touristy. There are plenty of places to eat along the beach and easy swimming. Amazing sunsets (really anywhere in Aruba is great) and just a great place to relax on the beach and enjoy the cool waters. Don't forget your Mango Balashi beer for any beach you visit!
