What do I need to travel to Aruba?

Answer

You need a valid passport for the entire length of your stay, an ED application (filled out online and printed off within the 7 days before your travel to Aruba) and Sustainability fee (paid in advance before you arrive to the airport $20). Which Airline should I book with?

Answer

We always use Google Flights to find the cheapest flight and usually have good luck with Spirit Airlines. However, sometimes you have to book separate flights to get to Aruba but it’s still pretty simple! Most other major airlines have flights to Aruba and some with direct flight options. Flights for March 2025 should be open now. So don’t delay!

Answer

ALL purchases can be done in US Dollars and there is no need to convert currency. You can also use DEBIT and CREDIT cards. (Be sure to tell your bank before you travel that you are going to Aruba). 1 AFL (Aruban Florin) = .56 US dollar

Communication and Cell Phones

Answer

Everyone in Aruba speaks English so language barriers are not a worry! They speak the native Arubian language, Danish, and English. Cell phones will work normally in Aruba if you let your provider know beforehand. It is usually a $ 10-a-day charge IF you use data at any point during the day. (That includes navigation, google searches, posting pictures of us doing stupid stuff, etc.). WIFI at the houses will work well and get you away from your phones during the day.

What is the nicest Beach?

Answer

All the beaches are nice!! Eagle Beach is ranked the highest because that is where the resorts are. However, we prefer Arashi and Baby Beach more. Eagle has higher-priced drinks and larger crowds because of tourism. Eagle Beach is just a 5-10 minute drive from the villa and Baby Beach is about 40 mins.

How do I swim with turtles?

Tres Trapi (Three Stairs) BTW there are like 5 steps. It is in Noord right near the Villas. Park and take a snorkel and pool noodle if you want. You will see other people out there about 25 yards and when you look down you will spot the sea turtles eating, sleeping, and surfacing for air about every 8-10 minutes. It's amazing!! Bring your waterproof cameras!

What does Beach Cocktail Attire mean?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable while we celebrate! Think khaki or linen pants and sun dresses. Wedding colors are peach, blush, orange, and coral.
