We are excited to be travelling to La Paz and couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else. It is brimming with things to do and places to eat, untouched beaches and fantastic sea views. Popular tourist activities include: - Walk the Malecón. 3-mile long waterfront Malecón is a local favorite. Joggers enjoy their run along the shore, while families and couples walk here daily. It is also the perfect spot for watching incredible sunsets as the red, yellow and orange rays illuminate the sky above the sea and marina. - Eat your way through town. La Paz is a surprisingly international city with a great food scene. There are many tasty restaurants (street food to fine dining) serving up a variety of cuisines. - Take a day trip to Todos Santos. Todos Santos is a charming old town with boutique hotels, local artisans, incredible food and white sand beaches. The original Hotel California is located here.
- Visit the nearby beaches. With crystal blue waters and soft white sand, Balandra Beach is definitely one of our favorites. It is located about 25km/15 miles outside the city. - Swim with sea lions at Los Islotes or Espiritu Santos Island. A cluster of smaller islands, Los Islotes is home to a several hundred California sea lions. - Scuba dive in the Sea of Cortez. Jacques-Yves Cousteau named the area the “Aquarium of the World." You’ll see manta rays, dolphins, healthy reefs, shipwrecks, sea lions, and more. - Sandboarding. Book an adventure tour and sandboard the desert while looking out over the Sea of Cortez.
