If you've asked Daniel and Sriya how they met, they've probably told you they met through mutual friends. This is absolutely, without a doubt, 100% correct. However, what they probably haven't told you is the part where those same mutual friends had discussed between, "Hey, here are two awesome but super awkward and nerdy people we know that would get along splendidly —we should set them up!" And yes, that was actually the reason they were first introduced to one another: because their nerdiness and awkwardness were deemed compatible. And so a day was set, and a plan was made. The day came, and our heroes met. Food was had, and drinks also, and while the conversation was initially somewhat awkward (as can only be expected from characters such as they) it quickly gave way to comfort and ease as subjects of video games, Lord of the Rings, and science fiction were broached. Simply put, our heroes got along beautifully. It did not take long for a relationship to blossom between them, and when Daniel got down on one knee and asked Sriya to marry him beneath the shade of a great and old twisted tree (think of the scene where Arwen and Aragorn promise themselves to one another) the answer was obvious. Which brings us to the now. Our heroes are grateful and honored to have you celebrate this momentous occasion with them, and hope you remember that nerdiness can (and will!) lead to a love story for the ages.
